London June 2016 – The Monetizing Internet of Things event series today announced its Copenhagen conference program and initial speaker line-up. The conference will be held 12-13 October 2016 at the Marriott Hotel, Copenhagen and aims to support enterprise investment decisions. The program explicitly focuses on how firms can overcome the barriers posed by security and the management of huge volumes of data – two of the key areas where decisions made now will dictate future competitive advantage.
Confirmed speakers include Scott Amyx of Amyx+McKinsey, Hans Linderman of Hitachi and Bas Boorsma of Cisco. The Monetizing IoT series brings together leading industry experts to consider and debate the challenges of making IoT work for key enterprise segments. It is aimed at C-level decision makers and their teams, leads with real world examples and forges a bridge between business and smart city strategies.
“As IoT solutions begin to mature, enterprises need to make plans and preparations now or risk being left behind by their fast-moving competitors,” said Caroline Gabriel, of Rethink Wireless and M-IoT Conference Chair. “These conferences are about helping to reduce risk and remove barriers to help IoT reach its full potential. They have been created with the enterprise in mind, to aid decision making at this crucial time.”
The Monetizing IoT conference series is endorsed by the IoT Security Foundation and Wireless IoT Forum. Future conferences in the series will take place in the Middle East and North America.
